  • NEW TYPE! With the Leguan armored bridgelaying vehicle, officially known as the battle field bridge, the pioneers cross small rivers and other terrain obstacles independently of fixed crossings. The load capacity of the system is more than 70 tons, in exceptional cases even up to 90 tons. This means that all combat vehicles can use the iguana crossings. When other vehicles cannot make any progress, the Iguana comes into play. It is based on the chassis of the Leopard 2 main battle tank, and previously decommissioned vehicles of this type are now being converted into the Leguan. It will be delivered with a 26-meter-long bridge. The Leguan can lay a crossing within five minutes and pick it up again within seven minutes.
